Made from 8620 soft carbon steel and featuring a milled face and grooves for maximum spin, the 588 DSG RTG+ (Dynamic Sole Grind) brings state-of-the-art technology and versatility to the most popular wedge shape of all time. When opening the face at address, this Dynamic Sole Grind allows the leading edge of the 588 DSG to remain closer to the ground than the original 588. This gives you more versatility to hit high and soft flop shots around the green. With adequate dynamic bounce, the 588 DSG remains effective out of soft sand or from soft turf conditions as well.

The RTG+ finish provides an initial rust-like appearance without having to wait for the rusting that will take place over time.  This type of finish is inspired by tour players who prefer clubs with a softer feel and reduced glare at address.

　

　

　

The RTG+ finish will wear off after 3 to 5 rounds of play at the sole and face of club.  The rate at which the finish will rust depends on the climate conditions that the club is exposed to.

　

　

　

　

Over time, the RTG+ finish will completely rust over.  Each time the club is put in play, the rust will wear off again at impact locations; mainly the sole and face of the club.
